Barcelona star holds a PSG pact with Barcelona

Barcelona star Ivan Rakitic holds a PSG Pact with Barcelona, according to Sport. Rakitic was the subject of a £90million bid from Paris Saint Germain that would have inflated his pay packet. The move did not come to fruition, as Ernesto Valverde, who was hugely reluctant to allow him to leave, inspired the pact- a deal between coach and player to prevent him leaving and, at the same time, ensure he is omnipresent in the coach’s side. In two years, Rakitic has only been left out of the squad on three occasions - and two of those were for Copa del Rey clashes. The pact has become known after Rakitic was forced off against Spain with a hamstring problem.
