Barcelona sporting director Eric Abidal meets with Matthijs de Light

Barcelona sporting director Eric Abidal recently dined with Ajax defender and reported transfer target Matthijs de Light, according to Catalunya Radio. The report claims this may be the final offensive in order to persuade the player. De-Light already won international recognition with the Netherlands, capped 13 times, and has made 84 first-team appearances for the Dutch giants. The 19-year-old is said to be not only wanted by Barca but a number of top European clubs including Paris Saint-Germain, Inter, Juventus and Roma.
