Barcelona president sends message to Liverpool target Dembele

Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele has been linked with a switch to Liverpool, however, club president Josep Maria Bartomeu has met with the player and his representatives to make clear his intention to keep Dembele in Barcelona, according to Marca. "We're counting on you," was the message from the Catalan club's president for the forward. The 22-year-old joined Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017. He made 42 appearances, scored 14 goals and provided eight assists during the 2018/19 season. However, Catalan giants will not be entertaining offers for the France international this summer.
