Barcelona make first move for £93.4m Manchester United target

Barcelona have made their first move for Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez. Martinez joined Inter Milan last summer, from Argentinian side Racing Club. He cost £20m but he is now worth almost five times that. The 22-year-old, who plays alongside Romelu Lukaku, has managed to score 13 goals this season and five of them during Champions League appearances. Martinez managed to score against Barcelona and according to Sport, there had been discussions between the clubs ahead of the game, where the La Liga side beat Inter 2-1 to end their Champions League season. Sporting director Eric Abidal enquired about the player's contractual situation and was pointed towards a £93.4million release clause that Inter won't budge from. The Catalans, however, could face competition from Manchester United, as they have also been linked with the Argentine. Source- The Sun
