Barcelona make decision over 2020 transfer policy as they focus on just one position

Barcelona will prioritise signing a new right-back next year, according to Marca. The Catalan club believes every other are of their team is good enough, while the right-back position is the only one they feel could be improved. Ernesto Valverde wanting Sergi Roberto to play further forward in midfield. Nelson Semedo is another option to play in the position, while Junior Firpo’s natural position is also left-back. Moussa Wague was promoted to the first-team over the summer. It is not yet clear whom Barcelona will be targeting to sign at right-back and they will no doubt be drawing up a list of potential players as the season progresses.
