Barcelona have now eyed a shock move for PSG star Kylian Mbappe for the summer transfer window.
The France international has been the subject of recent transfer speculation due to his refusal to sign a contract extension with his current club. PSG's board have made the decision to sell the player this summer instead of allowing him to leave as a free agent in 2024.
Real Madrid have always been the frontrunner to secure the attacker's signature, with the player being a fan of the club. However, the Los Blancos' rivals Barcelona have now entered the race.
According to the latest report by L'ÉQUIPE, a meeting is planned to take place between the representatives of Barcelona and PSG over a potential transfer.
Manchester United, Chelsea, Inter and Tottenham are said to be interested in Mbappe's services as well, while the Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal have reportedly offered the forward a €700M per year in case of a move.
PSG and Al Hilal have reached an agreement for the transfer, now they will have to convince Mbappe, as per Matteo Moretto.
