Barcelona and Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
According to Bleacher Report, the Catalan giants have made contact with the the 24-year-old’s representatives over a summer transfer.
However, Liverpool are the one destination for the Germany international, who is excited about the prospect of playing in the Premier League.
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was going to meet Werner face-to-face, but that has been put on hold due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to the report.
Werner, who is described as “absolutely rapid” by his teammate Tyler Adams, is one of the best strikers in Europe right now. The German has scored 21 goals and provided seven assists in the Bundesliga and four goals and two assists in the Champions League so far this season.
