Barcelona to allow Tottenham target to leave the club

Barcelona are reportedly willing to let 21-year-old star Carles Alena to leave on loan in January. Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has been eyeing the midfielder for a long time and watched him personally in a Barcelona B match last season, according to Mundo Deportivo. Barcelona are aware of the need to give the player minutes on the pitch, as the youngster has not played since August 16 for the first team. Alena has a contract until 2023.
