Bailly, Cavani, Tuanzebe: Manchester United injury latest and return dates

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to return to action without any injury concerns, following the international break. Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire are in England national squad at the moment, while Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof and Paul Pogba are playing with their national teams. United's latest injury concerns could be linked with Eric Bailly, who recently played for Ivory Coast against Belgium. However, the player opened up on his fitness, revealing that his hamstring injury was nothing serious. "Thank you for worrying about me, but I’m doing well. Just fatigue," he said. Bailly could be on action for another international friendly against Japan on Tuesday, while he is expected to return to the Premier League clash versus Newcastle. Edinson Cavani is currently in quarantine, following his move to Old Trafford on the last day of the summer transfer deadline of October 5. He looks fit, though he would have to miss the club's match against Newcastle and could make his debut versus his former side, PSG, in the Champions League on October 20. Axel Tuanzebe has been on the injury list since December. Recently he even opened up on his fitness, admitting it has been tough to watch others play, while he is out of action. He said: “You’re just looking at the other lads progressing, the games being played, just counting the amount of games you’re missing and getting messages left, right and centre, asking when you’re coming back and stuff. It’s tough in that respect, but I’ve had good people around me who have kept me going." Now the 22-year-old, who is highly-rated by Solskjaer, is expected to come back after the international break. Phil Jones' return date still remains unclear, with the player having missed United games since Janaury. Moreover, the club failed to make a move for the player due to his injury concerns during the summer transfer window. He was left out of United's Champions League group stage squad along with Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero on Thursday.
