Aymeric Laporte has opened up about his first goal for Spain.
On Wednesday La Furia Roja has picked up a thrashing 5-0 win over Slovakia, with Laporte netting the second goal for Spain.
After the game the Manchester City defender, who, just recently changed his citizenship from France to Spain, said:
“I’m really happy with the goal, my performance. I celebrated with a lot of rage. It’s a dream to be able to play with this great team. The people around me have welcomed me, I want to return that affection.”

Spain have qualified for the round of 16, where they will face Croatia, on Monday, June 28 at Parken Stadium, Copenhagen, Denmark.
