Arsenal star Pierre -Emerick Aubameyang has publicly sanctioned his club's attempts to sign Lyon star Houssem Aouar. Aouar is one of Arsenal's top targets as they look to strengthen their midfielder before the end of the transfer window. According to Eurosport France, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas believes Aouar, 22, is worth €60m. Asked whether he was in favour of the Lyon star signing, Aubameyang was in no doubt. Laughing, he told Canal+: “Of course we are in favour [of signing him]. He would add quality. Let’s see what happens. I cannot hide that, even if he is with Lyon.” Meanwhile, Lyon chief Aulas though continues to insist that Lyon will not let their star player leave on the cheap. “For Houssem Arsenal is too far from his value,” he said recently. “We are counting on him to play a great match in Lorient and lead Lyon in the Champions League next year.”
