Atletico Madrid have reportedly rejected an opening bid from Manchester United for Kieran Trippier.
The Red Devils have made a formal move for the England star after making him a priority target this summer.
However, according to
Football Insider, the offer of around £10million has been knocked back for Trippier and they will need to increase it to seal a deal.
The right-back, who turns 31 in September, is currently with the England squad preparing for their Euros opener against Croatia on Sunday. His future at Atletico is in major doubt despite being an instrumental player in their sensational La Liga-winning campaign.
