Aston Villa are one of the three teams that have been promoted to the Premier League this season.
Currently Dean Smith’s side are 19th in the league table with 25 points.
Villa has had some of the best Premier League players in their squad that left the club to join other sides.
So, here is how the Villans squad would look like, if they had kept their best players.
Brad Guzan left Aston Villa and joined Middlesbrough in the summer of 2016. The goalkeeper is currently playing at Atlanta United.
Kyle Walker has been a Villa player in 2011 as he joined them on loan from Tottenham. Currently, he is playing for Manchester City having joined them in the summer of 2017.
Gary Cahill played for Aston Villa from 2004 to 2008. After that he joined Bolton Wanderers, then Chelsea and currently he is playing at Crystal Palace.
Curtis Davies joined Aston Villa in the summer of 2008, after spending a season at the club on loan from West Bromwich Albion. Davies is currently playing for Derby County, having joined them in the summer of 2017.
