Aston Villa lead in pursuit of 20-year-old attacker with 7 goals in 13 games this season

Aston Villa and Crystal Palace have reportedly shown interest in securing the services of Norwich City's attacker, Jonathan Rowe.

According to a report from Football Insider, the 20-year-old performances this season have caught the eye of both Premier League clubs.

Rowe has been a standout player for Norwich in the Championship this season, contributing seven goals and two assists across 13 matches in various competitions.

The report indicates that the Villains are currently leading the race to acquire the winger's signature. This versatile young attacker can effectively play on either flank and even as a central attacking midfielder, promising to provide goals and assists in the final third for whichever English club he joins.

Unai Emery is on a mission to construct a strong squad and has made several notable signings in recent months. His side are in need of added quality in the attacking third, and Rowe could be a valuable long-term addition to their roster.

The prospect of developing under a manager of Emery's caliber and competing in European football makes Aston Villa an attractive destination for the player.

Similarly, the Eagles are in search of a skillful winger, particularly following Wilfried Zaha's departure. Both Premier League clubs should have the financial means to make this transfer happen, but it remains to be seen if they will attempt to persuade Norwich to part with the player when the transfer window reopens in January.
