Aston Villa have been linked with the out-of-favour Tottenham midfielder Victor Wanyama.
Jose Mourinho's side could reportedly lower Villa's asking price for Victor Wanyama in order to shift the midfielder.
The 28-year-old has fallen out of favour under Jose Mourinho and Spurs want to let him leave before Friday’s transfer deadline.
According to the Evening Standard, the North London club wanted around £17m for Wanyama in the summer but couldn't find a buyer ready to part with that amount of money.
Spurs reportedly lowered their valuation to £9m at the beginning of this month but may also consider a smaller 'cut-price fee' in order to make a deal.
Wanyama is into the final 18 months of his contract and has made just one appearance under Mourinho.
Norwich City, Serie A giants AC Milan and Turkish champions Galatasaray have also reportedly been linked to the midfielder.
