Liverpool have received a transfer boost for Diego Carlos as Sevilla may be willing to lower the asking price for the defender, according to Spanish news outlet
AS.
The Reds have been linked with the 27-year-old for the summer transfer window amid the transfer interest from Manchester City and Arsenal.
Carlos is thought to have a £68m release clause in his contract, while the Spanish side was thought not to accept any other fee for the player. However, the report claims that Sevilla could lower the asking price to attract more clubs for the possible transfer.
Carlos could become a good addition to Jurgen Klopp's squad, following Dejan Lovren's departure from Anfield.
