Arteta's amazing claim about Pep's Manchester City

Pep Guardiola missed his side's press conference. Mikel Arteta, who replaced Guardiola says Pep's Manchester City side are the best team in the world. Arteta will take charge of Premier League champions City for tonight's Champions League group stage opener against Lyon, with Guardiola serving a one-match touchline ban, after being sent to the stands during City's 2-1 Champions League quarter-final second-leg defeat to Liverpool. “For me, we have the best players in the world and I look at our players as if they are the best,” said Arteta. “I wouldn’t change my players for any others. “They are absolutely fantastic. The hunger in this group is incredible. That is the aim [to win the Champions League]. We have a ver young squad. They gained a lot of experience in the last two years and we feel we're better prepared. “But in the Champions League, winning or losing is more detailed. We believe we can do better and tomorrow everything starts. We know how hard it is to play against the teams in Europe. On Guardiola's touchline ban, Arteta said: “Obviously Pep is very disappointed. We all know how much the Champions League means to him, but he had a reaction, they made a decision and we respect the decision."
