Arsene Wenger speaks out over signing Aleksadr Golovin

Arsenal manger Arsene Wenger had high praise for Aleksandr Golovin following his perfect performance during CSKA Moscow vs Arsenal draw on Thursday. Golovin who had authored Russian side’s only away goal on April 5, showed a good display over two legs against the Gunners. Though Arsene Wenger had high praise on the Russian player, anyway he ruled out any potential signing of the 21-year-old. ‘I would say Golovin is a very interesting player,’ Wenger said. ‘He had an outstanding game tonight again. ‘But at the moment we are not in transfer mode. I would say that I couldn’t see one bad player in CSKA Moscow tonight,’ Wenger said. Now the Gunners are in the last four of the Europa League due to their 6-3 aggregate victory over CSKA Moscow. Their Europa League semi-final match will be against Atletico Madrid.
