Arsene Wenger speaks out on Aaron Ramsey’s decision not to extend the contract
Former Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says Arsenal have handed Aaron Ramsey right to decide his future amid failed contract negotiations.
Welshman recently announced he will do his best for his final months of contract with Gunners.
Ramsey has hinted he will leave the club.
"I don't really know what is happening at Arsenal. Sure, Aaron Ramsey is in a strong position now and he will use this position.” Wenger said (via The Sun)
"But I don't know how far Arsenal will go in terms of giving him a huge contract.
"Look, we tried that before and it can still happen.
"These things were once my responsibility, but not anymore. I am happy about that."
Several European top clubs including Chelsea, Juventus, Manchester United and Liverpool are interested in Ramsey.
