Arsene Wenger sends message to Mesut Ozil after being dropped from Arsenal's Premier League squad

Arsene Wenger has advised Mesut Ozil to already prepare for his next club after Mikel Arteta’s decision to leave the midfielder out of Arsenal’s Premier League squad. The 32-year-old has already been dropped from Arsenal’s Europa League squad and he was not named in their 25-man Premier League list which was submitted on Tuesday. And Wenger, who brought Ozil to Arsenal for £42.4 million in 2013, has advised the midfielder to focus on staying in shape in preparation for his next transfer. When asked how Ozil should respond if he is left out of Arsenal’s Premier League squad, Wenger told Sky Sports: "You practice every day and you make sure that your level doesn’t drop and that you can go somewhere else after and play somewhere else." Asked if he has spoken to Ozil, Wenger said: "No, I haven’t spoken to him since I left. Because I decided to take a distance and not interfere with anything.
