Arsenal will consider allowing Mesut Ozil to leave on loan in January following a breakdown in his relationship with Unai Emery.
Ozil was left out of Arsenal’s 0-2 Carabao Cup defeat against Tottenham with Emery citing ‘tactical’ reasons for the German absence.
The former Germany international has started just 11 of Arsenal’s 26 matches this season in case that he earns £350,000-a-week salary.
According to the Independent, even Wenger, who had always been one of Ozi’ls biggest supporters, resented the club bowing to the playmaker’s demands with such an exorbitant salary offer.
