Arsenal have been linked with a right-back Tyler Adams. According to The Athletic, Adams is seen as an addition that could potentially plug several gaps in Mikel Arteta's squad. "To again meet up with him, go after trophies together, compete in the Champions League together, will be really special," Adams said earlier in the month. "Anytime you can be coached by an American in Europe it will be really cool."
Adams could be reunited with a player from his recent past in Arsenal wonderkid Emile Smith Rowe. The pair were teammates during the second half of the 2018/2019 season when the latter joined Leipzig on loan.
In fact, on Instagram as per The Boot Room, Adams called Smith Rowe his idol following Arsenal's north London derby win over Tottenham at the Emirates.
