Arsenal working on loaning out a 20-year-old

The January transfer window will close today at 11pm GMT. Ahead of the deadline, Arsenal are working to secure a loan deal for their young defender Zech Medley. Medley has been part of Arsenal's youth academy since 2016. The 20-year-old has been playing on loan at Gillingham since August 2020. The defender has made 18 appearances this season. According to James Benge, the Gunners are working to secure a loan for Medley before the end of the day. He wrote on Twitter: "Arsenal also working to secure a loan for Zech Medley before the end of the day, still finalising which club he'll go to."
