Arsenal are very close to signing Juventus player Stephan Lichtsteiner on a free transfer.
Lichsteiner has won 14 trophies with Juventus since joining the club back in 2011 but the 34-year-old right-back has confirmed he will not be playing his football in Turin next season.
Following his appointment Arsenal new head coach Unai Emery is looking for defensive reinforcements with Lichtsteiner becoming a serious target.

The Evening Standard, the experienced full-back has even visited the club’s London Colney training ground which means he is set to be Emery’s first signing at the Emirates.
