Arsenal to re-open contract talks with Mesut Ozil

Arsenal are set to re-open talks with Mesut Ozil in an attempt to terminate the player's contract ahead of the January transfer window as the players' contract runs until the summer of 2021, according to reports. Ozil hasn't played for the Gunners since March and has been left out of the Europa league squad for the upcoming season. According to the Daily Mail, over the last 2 weeks, Arsenal unsuccessfully approached Ozil over ending his contract early, however, they are prepared to make another offer to the midfielder. The report states that an agreement is unlikely to be reached before the January transfer window and Ozil is said to want almost all of the remaining £13 million on his contract paid up. source - Metro Join us on Telegram
