Bayer Leverkusen keeper Bernd Leno, who has also been a target for Napoli has made it clear he want to join Arsenal.
The Gunners are in talks with Leno’s representatives and hopeful to get the deal done as he has a £22m buy-out clause.
Leno will come to replace Pert Cech , who is facing a fight for his place while they are likely to sell David Ospina.
They have agreed a £12m deal for Borussia Dortmund defender Sokratis Papastathopoulos, signed Stephan Lichtensteiner on a free transfer and are hopeful of £24m deal for Sampdoria’s Lucas Torreira.
