The release clause for Arsenal target Loïs Openda from RB Leipzig has been revealed alongside a certain limitation.
The Belgium international has a release clause of £70 million in his contract, but it can only be triggered in the year 2025, as per Sky Germany. Openda has played in nine matches for Leipzig so far, managing to score four goals and contribute with two assists. In the previous season, he had an impressive record of 21 goals in 38 Ligue 1 appearances while playing for Lens.
On the other hand, the Gunners have initiated talks with English defender Ben White regarding a contract extension. This is happening even though the 25-year-old player still has three years remaining on his current contract, which pays him £120,000 per week.
