Liverpool and Arsenal target Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has impressed Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola after their 2-2 draw on Tuesday night in the Champions League.
Houssem Aouar and Tanguy Ndombele have been on the radar of top European clubs. According to L’Equipe, Guardiola praised both players in his post-match press conference.
"We talk a lot about Ndombele, but Aouar is also excellent. He's always very calm with the ball at his feet, with an excellent technical quality,” said Guardiola.
"Lyon really has a very good team. There are young people full of quality and I think the team is in place tactically, I think we can congratulate them, we have had absences tonight, but we have to congratulate them."
Ndombele is widely regarded as one of the top midfield prospects in France and has attracted plenty of interest from clubs across Europe. The player is valued at £55 million.
