Arsenal are one of many clubs interested in Nicolas Pepe to strengthen their forward line ahead of next season.
Arsenal were having talks to sign Pepe, but the French club’s asking price was too high for the Gunners.
Unai Emery has reportedly only £40millionon his disposal for new signings, however according to Telefoot, Arsenal have now submitted an €80m (£70m) proposal to Lille and the offer is being considered by the French club’s hierarchy.
The report also claims that Pepe has not yet made a decision over his future but would prioritise a move to Paris Saint-Germain if it became available.
Pepe is now on his holidays after Ivory Coast were knocked out of the Africa Cup of Nations by Algeria on Thursday evening.
