Arsenal star linked with shock Barcelona switch

Arsenal star Nacho Monreal’s contract is set to expire in the summer and the Gunners have decided to make a decision over his future. Monreal joined Arsenal in 2013 from Malaga and became one of the key players of the squad. The Spaniard kept his place even when Sead Kolasinac was brought in on a free transfer from Schalke 12 months ago. However, reports from Spain claim that he is linked with a rturn to Spain with Barcelona heavily linked with him. Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness ) claim that Ernesto Valverde is not happy with the left-back situation at the Nou Camp with Jordi Alba the only recognised option at present so Monreal will be a suitable option  for the club. Mundo Deportivo also claim that Arsenal’s interest in Atletico Madrid’s Filipe Luis could pave the way for Monreal.
