Arsenal set to let promising striker leave on loan in January

Arsenal are set to let Folarin Balogun leave on loan during the January transfer window, according to The Athletic journalist David Ornstein. The Gunners are understood to have high hopes with the youngster as the club's main attacker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang turns 33 in June, and they would need a proper successor sooner or later. The 20-year-old has been eyed by a number of clubs due to his impressive form with Arsenal's young team, though he has already played twice for the first team as well. Whether the January move materialises or not may depend on Eddie Nketiah's and Alexandre Lacazette's future at the Etihad Stadium. However, Arsenal are eager to send the attacker out only on a temporary basis. Join us on Telegram!/ Follow us on Twitter!
