Arsenal set to offer new schock deal to defender

According to reports, Arsenal will offer a new deal for Rob Holding. Gunners’ center-back will return only in September due to his knee injury he has suffered back in December. Arsenal, however, believe in Holding and want to offer new contract, despite the injury issues. The reason for such a decision was the fact, that 23-year-old England international had a good partnership with Sokratis in the first part of the season, when Arsenal managed a 22-match unbeaten run under Unai Emery. Gunners are currently 5th in the league and will face Southampton later today.
