The recent transfer speculations at Arsenal are around departing Aaron Ramsey, who is almost certain to leave at the end of the season after a decade at the club.
However, there is something to give Arsenal fans reason to cheer during this international break from the Premier League.
According to
The Sun, the North London club’s head of recruitment, Sven Mislintat, has identified two players Rennes winger Ismaïla Sarr and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz as future first-teamers and will look to bring them to the English capital in the near future.
Arsenal could supposedly face competition from Barcelona for Senegal international Sarr, who Rennes are prepared to cash in on over the next 10 months.
Havertz is also seen as one of European football’s hottest young talents, has featured more than 60 times for Leverkusen and been capped by Germany’s senior side by the age of 19.
