Arsenal are set to complete the signings of Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira and Lorient's Matteo Guendouzi, reports Goal.
"I was very happy to leave for Uruguay with my team-mates but this is a good opportunity and I don't want to waste it," Torreira told
Telenoche.
Guendouzi is able to play in defensive midfield and made 18 appearances in Ligue 2 last season, while the fee is likely to surpass €8m plus bonuses.
Emery is likely going to bring other players while Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Berndt Leno and Stephan Lichtsteiner are already Arsenal players.
