Arsenal have responded to Galatasaray's bid to sign Mohamed Elneny, as the Gunners have rejected it.
The Egypt international had been attracting interest from two Turkish clubs, including Galatasaray, who made a formal bid for him.
However, according to
football.london, that offer was rejected by Arsenal, although, the club would be open to letting him leave for the right price.
Elneny made 41 appearances for the Gunners last season, winning the Arsenal Goal of the Season award for his strike against Dundalk in the Europa League group stages.
Head coach Mikel Arteta is a fan of the 29-year-old having played with him during his time as a player at Emirates Stadium, but could allow the Egyptian to leave after blocking Ainsley Maitland-Niles' move away from north London.
