Arsenal receive Tierney injury boost as four players ruled out of Leicester City clash

Arsenal have received an injury boost as Kieran Tierney is on his way back following a groin injury which saw him miss out on Saturday's game against West Ham. The Scottish full-back was suffering from tightness in his left groin. Tierney is now aiming to resume full training later this weekend ahead of Monday's clash with Liverpool. Along with Tierney, Cedric Soares has been ruled out of Wednesday night's Carabao Cup clash with Leicester City. That leaves Mikel Arteta without two of his full-backs for the meeting with the Foxes. Cedric has been ruled out as a 'precaution' due to a 'tight calf'. Sokratis Papastathopoulos is also out, also suffering from a calf injury, and he is set to join Tierney in resuming full training this week. Emile Smith Rowe is out for at least 10 days after suffering an injury to his right shoulder during training.
