Ivan Gazidis last month left Arsenal and is expected to take up a role with AC Milan shortly.
According to TuttoSport, Arsenal have already made a proposal for Juventus’ Beppe Marotta.
Trying to get ahead of the competition, it’s claimed by the Turin newspaper that Arsenal have put forward a €3.5m a year offer for the CEO.
Footballer’s wages in Italy are usually reported after tax, but it’s not clear whether that extends to this off pitch position.
The offer is said to be tempting for Marotta, however, Tuttosport don’t think that means he’s off to Arsenal in the near future.
