Arsenal are reportedly leading the race to sign AS Roma winger Cengiz Under in January transfer window.
Unai Emery is looking at ways to improve their wide option and have been linked with moves for the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Leon Bailey and Cristian Pavon over the past six months.
According to reports in Italy – via Sport Witness – the Gunners ‘pole position’ ahead of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich to sign highly-rated 21-year-old winger Cengiz Under.
It’s claimed that the Serie A side would accept an offer of €60m (£52m) as they would have to pay 20% of any future sale back to Basaksehir as part of the agreement when they signed the Turkey international in the summer of 2017.
The winger has scored two goals and made three assists in seven appearances across all competitions so far this season.
