Arsenal players whose contracts expire at the end of the season

At the end of the 2020/2021 season number of players from top clubs will become free agents and might end up joining other clubs. Arsenal is among those clubs as four players from the club will become free agents in the summer.

Shkodran Mustafi

Mustafi has been with Arsenal since 2016 as he joined the Gunners from Valencia. During this season, the 28-year-old has made an overall 9 appearances for Mikel Arteta’s side as he struggled with a knee injury.

David Luiz

David Luiz joined the Gunners from Chelsea in August 2019. His contract with Arsenal runs until the summer of 2021. During this season, the 33-year-old has made overall 15 appearances in which he has scored one goal.

Mesut Ozil

Ozil has been an Arsenal player since 2013 having joined them from Real Madrid. During this season he has not played a minute for the Gunners as he is being linked with a move from the Premier League side. Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the 32-year-old is in talks to join Fenerbahce on loan.

Sokratis Papastathopoulos

Sokratis has also been given limited playing time this season as he has made only 2 appearances this season one in the EFL Trophy and second with the Arsenal U23s. The 32-year-old has been an Arsenal player since 2018 having joined them from Borussia Dortmund.
