Hector Bellerin – 6 Bellerin caught well out of position for Newcastle's late goal. Sokratis – 8 He was excellent in the first half while others struggled, rescuing Mustafi after one awful error. Shkodran Mustafi – 5 Made a couple of really sloppy errors and was lucky not to get punished. Nacho Monreal – 6 Couldn't really get into the game in an attacking sense, but dealt with Matt Ritchie relatively well. Granit Xhaka – 8 Made an important early clearance as Newcastle threatened as well as did superbly in the build-up to Ozil's goal. Matteo Guendouzi – 5 Really struggled to get into the game, no surprise to see him replaced at half-time. Aaron Ramsey – 6 Wasted a golden opportunity to give Aubameyang a tap in before the interval. Mesut Ozil – 7 Had an excellent final half an hour. Alexandre Lacazette – 6 The striker showed some good touches and brought others into play well. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 6 Aubameyang Did a job for the team down the left, but would clearly prefer to be playing central.
