Arsenal pitch invader has been charged after Chris Smalling incident

During Arsenal's 2-0 win over Manchester United, a fan run onto the pitch to celebrate the Gunners second goal and he appeared to have pushed United player Chris Smalling. After the incident, the pitch invader has been charged with common assault. A Metropolitan Police statement said: "A man has been charged after an incident at the Emirates Stadium. "Gary Cooper, 30 (10.07.1988) of Styventon Place, Chertsey, Surrey, was arrested on Sunday, 10 March, during a football match between Arsenal and Manchester United. "He has been charged with common assault and going on to the playing area. He was bailed to Highbury Corner Magistrates Court on Friday, 26 March."
