Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke makes a fresh statement to staff about Daniel Ek takeover bid

Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has assured the club's staff that his family have no intention of selling the club. After Super League failure, supporters started protests of dissatisfaction with their ownership. Spotify owner Daniel Ek even made it clear that he attempts to buy the club alongside a trio of Gunners legends. However, the Kroenke family would not be relinquishing control over the club to Ek or any prospective buyer, according to The Athletic. The private promise by the board comes after owner Stan Kroenke and his son Josh released a public statement which confirmed their intent to continue. “In recent days we have noted media speculation regarding a potential takeover bid for Arsenal Football Club. We remain 100 per cent committed to Arsenal and are not selling any stake in the Club,” Kroenke Sports & Entertainment, owned by Stan, said last month. “We have not received any offer and we will not entertain any offer. Our ambition for Arsenal remains to compete to win the biggest trophies in the game and our focus remains on improving our competitiveness on the pitch to achieve this.”
