Arsenal man linked with shock La Liga transfer

Real Sociedad have made Nacho Monreal their first-choice target to become their new left-back ahead of the new season, according to reports from Spain. The La Liga club, who finished two points off the top half in 2017/18, are looking to add to their squad before the transfer deadline with a couple of arrivals from the Premier League. According to Spanish journalist Kike Marin, Real Sociedad will launch a move for Monreal after selling full-back Alvaro Ordiozola to Real Madird for €30m. Monreal is out of contract at the end of the season and an offer from Sociedad may tempt Arsenal to cash in on the player to give Unai Emery some extra cash in the transfer market.
