Arsenal legend Marc Overmars has named the player he would’ve signed first at Arsenal

Arsenal legend Marc Overmars, who has recently been linked with a position of sporting director of North London club, has named the player he would’ve signed first. Overmars, alongside with Monchi from Roma has been considered by Arsenal chiefs to replace Sven Mislintat, who has left the club last month. Former Netherlands national team star said he would've brought to EPL Matthijs De Ligt, Ajax captain. "He has the power, the mentality, the heart. If I worked at another club, I would like to sign him immediately." Overmars told media (via Mirror). "We do not need to sell him, we do not need the money, but I know he will go to one of the big clubs [eventually]." 19-year-old De Ligt has also been linked with Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester United and Liverpool. His possible transfer could happen for massive £75 m, according to reports.
