Arsenal are reportedly still in the race for securing Emiliano Buendia’s signature this summer.

According to a report by Goal, the Gunners have stepped up their interest in the Norwich City midfielder as an alternative to Martin Odegaard who looks set to return to Real Madrid after his loan spell expires. CBS Sports also claim that whilst a formal bid has not yet been lodged, that is expected to change in the coming days.

And Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi appears to be quite impressed by Buendia’s performance.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta sends message to Sergio Aguero ahaed of Manchester City farewell

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has talked about Sergio Aguero ahead of his Manchester City farewell game on Sunday.

The Argentine striker joined Cityzens back in 2011 and has scored a whopping 258 goals for the club, winning five Premier League titles along the way.

And Arteta, who worked with Aguero for three and a half years during his stint as City assistant coach, paid a glowing tribute to the 32-year-old ahead of his possible move to Barcelona.
