Arsenal are keen on to sign Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand, according to Goal. The Gunners are looking at left-back options after Sead Kolasinac's departure to Schalke on loan. Kolasinac's move let Kieran Tierney as the only recognised left-back in the squad. The Gunners view the experienced Bertrand as a perfect option to potentially as a cover for Tierney. The 31-year-old, who has won 19 caps for England, has just six months left on his contract at Southampton and talks over extending his stay have so far proved unsuccessful. Arsenal are keeping close tabs on the situation and contact has been made with the former Chelsea defender’s representatives about a possible switch to north London, reports Goal.
