Arsenal join race to sign Roma star

Arsenal have expressed interest in signing Roma’s midfielder Radja Nainggolan. Though the club’s future is up in the air with Wenger’s retirement, transfer business for the summer is already well underway. According to The Sun England top clubs Manchester United and Chelsea are also keen to secure Roma midfielder’s services. Earlier this month the player himself revealed his intentions: 'I've never won anything, but I think that for those who know me, I've always played to win. 'Sometimes I prefer to take the hardest path. It would be too easy to go to a winning team and win. 'For me, it's better to be a leading light for a less-favoured team and win with them. 'I chose Roma for that reason too. It's an important club, and a club like Roma deserve to win something important.’ The 29-year-old’s transfer fee is expected to be £45million.
