Arsenal injury update and expected return dates ahead of Fioretina tie

Arsenal have started their pre-season successfully having beaten Colorado Rapids 3-0 on Tuesday and winning Bayern Munich 2-1 on Thursday. Goals from Bukayo Saka, James Olayinka and Gabriel Martinelli secured the first win, while Eddie Nketiah climbed off the bench to net an 88th minute goal to seal a 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the International Champions Cup tournament. Rob Holding was thought to miss the start of the upcoming season, but Unai Emery will have him available for selection sooner than he expected. Hector Bellerin, Emile Smith Rowe and Konstantinos Mavropanos are also using the trip to get back to full fitness following injury. Bellerin stepped up his rehabilitation by kicking a ball again for the first time in 177 days since suffering that knee injury and spent Tuesday evening. As for Smith Rowe there has been clips and images of him training with the first-team, but as of yet there's no timeframe for his return. Arsenal play their second International Champions Cup fixture on Saturday against Serie A side Fiorentina at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
