Fabrizio Romano has provided a fresh update on Arsenal's pursuit of Jurrien Timber.
The Gunners' first bid for the Ajax star has been rejected by the Dutch club. According to the sports journalist, the Gunners are advancing in talks as today they have submitted their second bid for the player worth €45/48m.
Personal terms have already been agreed upon, with Mikel Arteta's side ready to offer a long-term contract to Timber valid until 2028.
