Former goalkeeper of Arsenal David Seaman who won two Premier League titles with the Gunners admitted he would want Tottenham to win the Champions League.
Spurs progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition with a 1-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, securing a 4-0 aggregate win.
“Seriously, I swear, I would want them to win,” he said on talkSPORT.
“If they were in a final against a foreign team I would want Tottenham to beat them, no doubt about that.
“Say Tottenham were playing Bayern Munich, Barcelona, whoever – I would want the English team to win.”
“I played 75 times for my country, I’d want the English team to win. That’s just the way I am,” he added.
The former goalkeeper’s on Spours didn’t go down well among those that previously adored him in north London.
